1. Who we are and what this covers
Home Service Recovery (also written as HomeServiceRecovery or “HSR”) is a service brand of Aevium Films LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy covers personal information handled through homeservicerecovery.com and our related sales, support, account-management, and service activities.
We provide done-for-you websites, customer relationship management (CRM), AI-assisted reception, appointment tools, follow-up automation, past-customer reactivation, and review and referral systems for home-service businesses.
When you contact HSR directly, we are responsible for how we use your information for our own business purposes. When we handle information for an HVAC or other home-service client, we generally act as that business’s service provider, following its instructions and our agreement. That business determines why it collects customer information and is responsible for its own privacy notices and required permissions. Its privacy policy also applies.
This policy provides notice of our practices. Visiting our website does not, by itself, give consent to receive marketing texts or calls.
2. Information we collect
The information involved depends on how you interact with us and which features a client uses. It may include:
- Contact and business details: name, email address, phone number, company name, website, job role, billing details, and information you submit in a form, chat, demo request, or support conversation.
- Service and customer records: service address, requested work, urgency, appointment preferences, estimates, job status, customer history, reviews, referrals, and follow-up or communication preferences.
- Communications: messages, emails, call details, and, where enabled with appropriate notice or consent, audio recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries.
- Account and transaction records: onboarding information, authorized account access, invoices, payment status, and service agreements. When a payment processor is used, it handles payment credentials under its own privacy and security practices.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, timestamps, referring pages, and data used by hosting, security, or embedded tools to operate the site.
- Permission records: communication opt-ins, consent wording and timestamps, unsubscribe requests, and suppression records used to respect your choices.
Information comes from you, from a business that has engaged us, from systems that business authorizes us to connect, and from your use of our website and communication tools. Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, complete payment-card details, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive information through chat, calls, or general forms.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange demos, onboard clients, provide support, manage billing, and deliver the services described in our agreements. For clients, this can include answering inquiries, routing calls, booking appointments, following up on estimates, reactivating past customers, requesting reviews or referrals, and reporting on system activity.
We also use information to troubleshoot errors, protect accounts, prevent misuse, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Where permitted and with any required consent, we may send information about HSR’s own services. Client customer records are processed to serve that client, not to build an unrelated marketing list for HSR.
4. AI reception, recordings, and transcripts
Some services use automated or AI-assisted systems to answer calls, respond to messages, collect service details, suggest replies, summarize conversations, and assist with scheduling. Information submitted to these features may be processed by the CRM, communications, and AI providers needed to operate them.
When recording or transcription is enabled, the responsible business must provide the notices and obtain the consent required for the interaction. Authorized HSR personnel and the relevant client may review recordings, transcripts, and summaries for follow-up, support, quality checks, or troubleshooting.
AI can misunderstand information or produce an inaccurate summary. You may ask for a person to follow up or request correction of inaccurate information. Do not use an AI receptionist or website chat for emergencies; contact emergency services directly.
5. Text messages, calls, and email
Depending on what you request and the permissions you provide, HSR may communicate with you about inquiries, appointments, onboarding, account support, service updates, or promotions. A client’s communications are sent on that client’s behalf and should identify that business.
Marketing consent is not required to purchase services. Message frequency varies with your interactions and subscriptions. Your carrier’s message and data charges may apply. Where required, we obtain consent before using automated marketing calls or texts.
To stop texts, reply STOP to the sending number. A confirmation may follow. For help, reply HELP or contact us below. To stop promotional email, use its unsubscribe link or contact us. You can also ask us not to make marketing calls. Opting out of marketing does not necessarily stop essential account or billing notices through other permitted channels.
8. How long information is kept
Retention depends on the type of record, the purpose for collecting it, the service agreement, platform settings, and applicable legal requirements. Relevant considerations include providing the service, resolving support issues or disputes, accounting requirements, security, and honoring communication preferences.
Client-controlled records may be subject to that client’s retention instructions. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups or records that must be retained for legal reasons. A limited opt-out record may be kept so that a deleted contact is not accidentally contacted again. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure, including encrypted website connections and limiting access to service-related needs. No website, communication channel, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of an account or exposure of information handled through our services.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, correct an error, request a copy or deletion, or change communication preferences. Depending on where you live and which laws apply to us, you may have additional rights, including rights to access or portability, to restrict certain uses, or to appeal a decision on a privacy request.
We will evaluate requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. Exceptions may apply, including records needed for legal obligations or another person’s rights. We will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled and how to seek further review where applicable. We will not penalize you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
If your information belongs to an HVAC company’s customer account, contact that company first. It generally controls the record. You may also contact us to help identify the responsible business or route your request; we may need its instructions before changing or deleting client-controlled data.
11. Children’s information
Our website and business services are intended for adults, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it.
12. Where information is processed
HSR is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ between locations. Where a transfer is subject to specific legal requirements, appropriate safeguards must be used; submitting information does not waive any rights provided by applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. For material changes, we will provide any additional notice or obtain any permission required by applicable law. A policy update does not itself create consent for new marketing uses.
